Thank you! I am sure I will be hollering
I have a jersey/Holstein that is ready to breed come Feb for her first calf. Then I get to learn how to do the milking
Question: opinions on this are about as big as anything else, but I have heard 2 different ideas.
1) is milking 2x per day is better for the cow & 2) milking 1x per day is better...any opinions??

We had 2 crosses, but I lost my smallest this past week...I believe it was bloat. Sad day on the farm, however, the thought of milking 2 every day was kind of scary...still stinks we lost her.
