Just regular old earthworms. Not sure if a special kind of worm would work faster or not. I just made several earthworm traps out of scraps of rug and old pieces of plywood. Got em to multiplying really well in an old bathtub and when they were at the density that I wanted I introduced them to the area under my rabbits that I had filled with damp peat moss. I'm fairly certain that I attracted 'wild' worms too. The bottom of the manure beds were just dirt and my worms could have escaped if they wanted to. The main thing is to not let a strong urine area develop. I take a garden fork and gently stir under wet urine spots and dilute with water. If for some reason the worms aren't working a certain rabbits droppings I would clean up the accumulation and put fresh peat moss and make sure to keep it stirred. Normally that solved the problem and the worms moved right in.
